I would like to introduce a great FREE training opportunity offered by National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health (NPWH) to support healthcare professionals like us in navigating conversations around reproductive health. This training is open to all—members and non-members alike—including students, certified WHNPs, and all APRNs.

In today’s rapidly changing healthcare landscape, the ability to engage in respectful, compassionate conversations around reproductive care—including abortion—is not just important, it’s essential. Equally critical is understanding your rights and responsibilities in providing this care, even as the legal and policy environment continues to shift.

The Reproductive Health Coalition is offering a 2-part training focused on Navigating Conversations in Reproductive Care. You do not have to view part 1 to attend the live training.

The Hawai‘i Department of Health, Hawai‘i Medical Association, Hawai‘i Academy of Family Physicians, Hawai'i Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and Queen’s Health Systems Pediatric Clinical Program invite all healthcare providers to view this important panel discussion on measles - a critical update for clinicians across the state Panelists: Sarah Kemble, MD State Epidemiologist, Hawai‘i Department of Health Jennifer Mbuthia, MD Allergist & Immunologist Nathan Tan, MD Deputy State Epidemiologist, Hawai‘i Department of Health Facilitator: Nadine Tenn Salle, MD Clinical Chief of Pediatrics, Queen’s Health Systems Discussion topics: The panel will share the latest data, guidance on case management, and strategies to enhance measles preparedness in clinical settings across the islands.

본 연구에 참여하실 분을 모집하고 있습니다.

연구 1 (WPAPP) | 우울감, 우울증 관련 연구 

(WPAPP-K: A Web-App Based Lifestyle Physical Activity Promotion Program to Improve Depressive Symptom Experience: Midlife Korean American Women)

현재 미국에 거주하는 중년 한인 여성들을 대상으로 우울감을 개선하기 위한 웹/앱 기반 생활 습관 신체 활동 증진 프로그램에 대한 연구를 진행중에 있습니다. 저희는 본 연구에 참여하실 분을 모집하고 있습니다. 1) 40세에서 65세의 한국계 미국 거주 여성으로서 2) 부모님이나 조부모님이 한국인이며 3) 몸을 많이 움직이지 않으나, 신체 활동이 어려운 장애 없으며 4) 영어 또는 한국어를 읽고 쓸 수 있고 5) 인터넷에 접속이 가능하며 6) 최근 2주 안에 우울감을 경험한 분을 저희 연구의 참여자로 모십니다. 참여 자격을 갖추고 연구 참여에 동의하신 분은 두 개의 그룹으로 무작위 배정됩니다. 참여자께서 어느 그룹에 배정되었는 지에 따라 1) 교육용 정보를 사용하시거나, 2) 온라인 포럼 및 1:1 코칭/지지 프로그램에 참여하시게 됩니다. 모든 참여자들은 3번에 걸쳐 설문지를 작성하시게 되며, 본 연구의 참여 기간은 총 12개월입니다. 각…
