37회 하와이 한인 민속축전 봉사활동 보고
하와이 한인 간호사 협회(HKNA)**는 올해도 다시 한 번 한인 사회의 연례 건강과 화합의 체육 행사에 초청받는 영광을 가졌습니다. 지난 한인축제에서 제공했던 서비스에 더해, 이번에는 행사 참가자들을 위한 현장 응급처치 지원, 무료 독감 예방접종을 제공하였으며, 간호사 회원들이 직접 팀을 이루어 경기에 참여하며 지역 사회와의 교류와 친목을 다졌습니다.
독감 예방접종은 Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Hawaii(HMHB Hawaii)**에서 후원해 주었으며, 이들의 모바일 클리닉은 다시 한 번 저희와 협력하여 지역 주민들에게 꼭 필요한 건강 서비스를 직접 제공할 수 있도록 도와주었습니다. 이번 활동을 통해 건강, 예방, 그리고 즐거움을 함께 나누며 지역 사회의 문화와 건강을 함께 기념하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가질 수 있었습니다.
Volunteer Activity Report for the 37th Hawaii Korean Folk Festival
The Hawaii Korean Nurses Association (HKNA) was once again honored to be invited to the Korean community’s annual healthy and competitive Sporting Event. Building on the services we provided during the Korean Festival, our HKNA nurses expanded their role this year by offering on-site first aid care for participants, administering free flu vaccines, and even joining in the sporting events as a team to foster camaraderie and community spirit.
The flu vaccines were generously sponsored by the Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Hawaii (HMHB Hawaii), whose mobile clinic once again partnered with us to deliver essential health services directly to the community. Together, we were able to combine wellness, prevention, and fun in a meaningful way that celebrated both health and culture.
